Have you ever walked around your own province as if you were a tourist?
— Well, that’s what happened to me when I went back to Siquijor, I felt the urge to explore and know more about my hometown which is known by many as “the mystic island”.
And as I started exploring I realized how much there was to learn about my own province and I could say “I love my own hometown”. I am proud to say that I am always a province girl at heart. Spending one week in the Isla gives me the opportunity of seeing it through in a different angle.
Tentenen so here are the awesome places I’ve visited! ?
1. Paliton Beach: Paliton San Juan Siquijor (Public Beach)

This place is known by many as “Mini Boracay or Small Boracay.

Awwww! beaching with my sister. 😀

Paliton Beach a white sand beach with a crystal clear water.
2. Islandia Beach Resort: Talisay, Catulayan, San Juan, Siquijor

Such a peaceful and lovely place, plus the owner who is Ate Dimple May is very welcoming. 🙂

With one of the staff (also a very close friend of my sister).
3. Napo Small Irrigation Project: Napo, San Juan Siquijor

You can easily locate the place since there is a poster or shall I say sign at the side of the road.

Cool and refreshing water.
4. Lugnasan Falls: Napo, San Juan Siquijor

A perfect place for summer! 🙂

Should we jump? HAHAHHAHAH
5. Siquijor Church: Siquijor, Siquijor

Just beside the Siquijor Church, the whole church was not included in my photo since my mother has a hard time taking photos of mine hahahhaha
6. Monkey Business: Solangon, San Juan Siquijor

Lovely place to chill out and relax (also reggae band plays at night)

They also had swings!
Other things to do on the Island. Watch the spectacular sunset.
