Formerly known as Portofino — Mactan New Town Beach offers convenience if you are looking for a city beach experience. Located in Lapu-Lapu City — approx. 45 mins to 1 hour from Cebu City.
How to get there?
What I suggest, better start in Park Mall Terminal then look for “Maribago” Jeepney route, and fare cost PHP 14.00. From here, drop by in Mactan New Town Terminal. From Mactan New Town Terminal, hire a Habal-habal (Motorcycle) to get to your destination, fare PHP 20.00.

How was the experience?
If you are looking for a quick beach experience, Mactan New Town would be the closest option, however, expect a crowded environment during weekends.

The first booth, you will deal with the entrance and corkage fees. In addition to this, for all tourist that has a valid ID address in Lapu-Lapu City, or Cebu City, you will get a discount of PHP 50.00 for each person. Thumbs up for this, right? ????
Corkage Fees
Imported Liquor: PHP 100 per bottle.
Local Big Bottle: PHP50.00 per bottle.
Local Small bottle: PHP 20.00 per bottle.
Corkage fee on all food: PHP 50.00
Entrance Fees
PHP 150.00 per head on weekdays (Monday to Friday)
PHP 200.00 per head on Weekends (Saturday & Sunday)
From here, each of you will get an entrance wrist band. On the other hand, the second booth is where you check available cottages, tent, and wooden tables.

Given, Mactan New Town Beach is one of the closest beaches in Lapu-Lapu, expect medium pricey range. Even their showers have an insert coin option. ✌
